Meet the Leadership Team
Hello, my name is David Elms and I am married to Gwyneth and we have five children and nine grandchildren. I am the Pastor of Kingsway Christian Fellowship, Waterloo, near Liverpool. We do hope you will enjoy learning about us as you browse through our web site. Our activities are many and varied to cover the whole spectrum of age and ministry.
Hi, my name is Bill Turpin and I am married to Val. We have two married children, and four grandchildren. I am an Elder at Kingsway. ![]()
Hi, I am John Shergold. I am married to Sue and have three children. I am an Elder at Kingsway. I also help to oversee the Home Groups and the Freedom in Christ ministry.

Hello, my name is Roy Morgan, I am married to Jane and we have two children. I am an Elder at Kingsway and have responsibility in particular for the Youth and Young Adults. I am a headmaster in Walton, which is just a short distance from the City Centre.
Hi, my name is Tom McLelland and I am married to Jeannie, we have three children. I am an Elder at Kingsway and am responsible for leading the Natural Church Development work, and, along with my wife, we are responsible for the Mission to Marriage courses which are regularly run here at Kingsway.
Hi, my name is David Meath and I am an Elder at Kingsway and married to Carol. We have two children, and also two grand daughters. I am responsible for running the 'Alpha Course' in Kingsway. I work part time in the Civil Service.
How are we organised?
Although the Elders are the final decision makers we have a fine leadership team which is accountable for the overall life and development of Kingsway Christian Fellowship. The Leadership Team consists of the six Elders, and four Deacons.
