Love Is... Women's Ministry

'LOVE IS' is the Women’s ministry at Kingsway, which was started in 2005. There is a team of five ladies who meet on a regular basis to pray and seek God’s will for this ministry. We have social events, prayer and praise meetings and weekends away. We meet regularly on the third Sunday of the month at 6.30pm at Kingsway Christian Centre, and all ladies are welcome to come and spend time with us waiting on the Lord, praising Him for all He has done in our lives, and getting to know Him more.

Over the weekend of 11th -13th November, 23 of the ladies from Kingsway went to a Kingdom Power and Glory Conference at Ffald-y-Brenin in South Wales.  We had read the book The Grace Outpouring and after much prayer felt this was the place where the Lord wanted us to go.  It would be impossible to say how blessed we were, but it is as if the Kingdom is there as it is in Heaven.  Ffald-y-Brenin is a House of Prayer and they 'Seek First the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things are being added unto them'.  We saw people healed physically, emotionally and spiritually (at least 3 of our ladies were healed physically).   From the testimonies of the people, who live there, these miracles occur on a daily basis.  The conference teaching was sound and based totally on the Word of God and the worship was wonderful.

We thank God for taking us there and giving us more than we could ever have dreamed of.

Our first main event of 2012 is to take place on Sunday 19th February at 6.30pm at Kingsway when Jenny Reid will be speaking.  We are very excited about this and believe that as always on these Sunday evenings we will experience the presence of God.  Jenny is a young wife and mum, who loves the Lord and at the church, where her husband Neil is Pastor, they are experiencing a move of the Spirit.

On the 27th February we will be having a Quiz Night, starting at 8pm. The cost will be £2 (please give you name and money to Nita by 19th February, for catering purposes).  We had a really good time at our last quiz night with lots of laughter and hope that this one will be as good.  Please invite a friend.
