Thanks for taking the time to stop and connect with us through this webpage!
· We exist to serve the needs of young people in the north Merseyside area.
· The youth at Kingsway meet each Friday evening (with the exception of holiday times).
· Doors open at 7.30p.m. although the ‘meetings’ do not start until 8.00p.m. at the earliest.
· The ‘youth’ separate for most meetings into two age groups; Years 7,8 and 9 meet in the lounge while Years 10 upward meet in the main hall.
· Each fourth week is a ‘social’ time in which we chat and play games. This is a great opportunity to chill out and get to know people better.
· The younger group develops activities including drama, quizzes, D.V.D. presentations and fun and games.
· The older group have a worship time, teaching and met as smaller ‘cell’ groups.
· We often join in with community based projects. We provided a high level of commitment to ‘Merseyfest’ and this year we will be supporting activities related to HOPE ’08.
· We run weekends away to venues such as Barnstondale. These weekends provide a great opportunity for serious input, activities and relationship building.
